“YOU DECIDE”...…Check It Out Here!
“Is Dave Wood Off His Rocker? Or Does He Have A Mental Attitude?”
Dave Wood is definitely off his rocker and a man of action and positive mental attitude.
Success is in the blood. There are men whom fate can never keep down…they march forward in a jaunty manner, and take by divine right the best of everything that life affords. Their success is not attained by means of the Samuel Smiles-Connecticut policy. They do not lie in wait, or scheme, or seek to adapt their sails to catch the breeze of popular favor. They are alert and alive to any good that may come their way, and when it comes they simply appropriate it, and move on.
After Dave’s hero’s water save…I bet he filled his lungs to the utmost; Looked towards heaven to drink in the sunshine; greeted his wife with a crushing hug maybe a teary smile, and put soul into every greeting and hand-shake.
There are lessons learned when traumatic events are reflected on…Like…Life is fragile, fleeting, and we are not promised tomorrow. So…do not fear being misunderstood; You will be anyway. Do not waste a moment thinking about your enemies. Someone will always dislike you. Try to fix firmly in your own mind what you would like to do, and then without hesitation move in the direction to the goal.
Do not stop to meditate on what the gossips say, You will always be talked about…strive to give them something with merit to talk about.
Keep your mind on the great and splendid things you would like to do; and then, as the days glide by, you will find yourself unconsciously seizing the opportunities that are required for you to fulfill your desire. Picture in your mind the able, earnest, committed person you want to be, and hold that thought…the law of attraction is working.
Thought is supreme, and to think is often better than to do. Preserve a right mental attitude the attitude of courage, frankness and good cheer.
All things come through desire and every sincere prayer is answered. We become like that on which our hearts are fixed.
Like old Job, that which we fear will surely come upon us. By a wrong mental attitude we have set in motion a train of events that ends in disaster. People who die in middle life from disease, almost without exception, are those who have been preparing for death. The acute tragic condition is simply the result of a chronic state of mind a culmination of a series of events.
Character is the result of two things, mental attitude, and the way we spend our time. It is what we think and what we do that make us what we are. Ask yourself what am I thinking about and if it’s negative interrupt the thought and replace it with a positive one.
You do have a choice everyday…Choose a positive mental attitude and expect great things to happen.
