Sales Training Tip: Choose What You Allow Into Your Mind Carefully

A front page headline on USA TODAY read:

90% of the ocean’s edible species may be gone by 2048, study finds
Having Hurricane Irene and the worry over the coming of the 2nd recession isn’t enough. They have to devote half their front page to scaring us about the potential scarcity of Mrs. Paul’s fish sticks thirty- seven years from now.

Since I will most likely be dead none of this really matters to me. I find the reading of the daily paper taking less and less time – no more than the drinking of one cup of coffee. The reason – most of what is in there is of no interest to me and has no bearing on the achievement of my goals. Some may say this selfish and I would plead guilty but successfully guilty.

These headlines and stories are nothing new. My first recollection of this type stuff was The Population Bomb, a best-selling book, written by Paul R. Ehrlich and his wife, Anne Ehrlich, in 1968. It warned of the mass starvation of humans in the 1970s and 1980s. Didn’t happen. And then we had Y2K and the whole idea that all there would be a technological meltdown. Didn’t happen.

Scientists, psychics, cult leaders, politicians and ignorant, irresponsible journalists have frequently predicted the end of life as we know it – starvation and famine, flood, asteroid attack, the earth veering from its axis, killer bees, or – the latest – mad cow disease, etc. – and they have all been wrong.

God knows how many times one religious group or another has declared that the end of the world was near. So far nothing, nada has happened. Now we have the fruitcakes who are saying that the ancient Mayan calendar predicts the end of the world in 2012 – that is if the sunspots don’t get us first. Geez, you would think the public would wise up to this journalistic hype and realize that that all this does is sell newspapers and books and get government money for wacky research.

Eventually something, maybe an asteroid will get us and those left will say, “see I told you so”.

I council my sales training clients to be wise and not pay attention to any of this hype and clog their brain with this useless dribble. If you are really, really smart, you will be ruthless about NOT paying attention to anything that doesn’t advance you toward your goals, enhance your important skills, or inspire and motivate you to be your best self and achieve your greatest ambitions.

Hobbies don’t count and you get a pass because everyone needs escape from the nose to the grindstone relentless toil that it takes to become rich and achieve total personal autonomy to do what you want, when you want, with whom you want.

Anything that does not achieve this goal has to be filtered out. Blocked. Ignored. Just because USA TODAY feels compelled to fill its front page with silly, decidedly unscientific drivel, with scary stuff about the future-without-fish, does NOT mean you must swallow it.

Wishing you all the success you have the guts to grab!

2012 Marketing Rolodex

Posted by Kim Roach

My personal Rolodex contains every tool, resource, and system that I use in my business. These are the golden nuggets that I have discovered over the past 7 years. Inside this report, you’ll get exclusive access to my favorite ghostwriters, copywriters, graphic designers, traffic assistants, programmers, and more…

NameCheap.com – Cheap domain registration with an excellent control panel
for managing all of your domains.

BlueHost.com – Bluehost.com is the finest web hosting company I have come across. And I’ve tried quite a few of them. I’ve found Bluehost to be the very best in their class. They provide incredible support, unlimited domain names, and an excellent service for an affordable price.

However, I’ve just recently had to change web hosts because our site was simply getting too much traffic. We went with a Virtual Private Server at LiquidWeb.com which I’m really happy with so far. Some other really good options include RackSpace.com and SoftLayer.com.

Aweber.com – Hands-down One of the best services online for managing your email newsletter.

GoToWebinarWebinars are one of the most powerful tools for marketing and engaging with your community.

Amazon S3 – The Amazon Simple Storage Service. I use this service to store and publish almost all of my videos. They have extremely reliable internet storage, which is great for hosting large files like videos and podcasts. Using Amazon S3 you’ll never have to worry about running into bandwith problems. This can be extremely helpful – especially when you’re running a product launch.

EZS3 – Ok, so now you have your files uploaded to Amazon S3 but how do you publish those files and create video players that you can post to your website? That’s where EZS3 comes in. EZS3 takes the technical side out of it – allowing you to quickly and easily upload your files, create video players, mp3 players, and then upload your media onto your website. Plus, they also have a complete stats program to show you exactly how many people viewed your video, listened to your podcast, or read your pdf. Pretty cool! And a must-have for anyone like me who really doesn’t like to mess with the tech stuff.

UptimeRobot.com – A Free service that notifies you if your sites ever go down.

FileZilla – Free FTP software (I use this on a weekly basis to upload new files and pages to my website.)

Zamzar.com – A Free online conversion tool that allows you to convert nearly unlimited types of media file formats, including documents, images, audio, videos, etc… Convert your files to different formats quickly and easily.

If you’re not tracking your visitors, then you’re flying blind. If you want to build a massively successful business, then you need to continually improve your conversion rates. That means testing your subject lines, open rates, squeeze pages, sales letters, calls to action, and everything in between. Anytime you aren’t testing is an opportunity you’re wasting.

Google Analytics – Get a much deeper insight into your website visitors. Find out exactly where your traffic is coming from, where they’re clicking, and how long they’re staying on your site.

Adtrackz Gold – This is one of my all-time favorite tools. And one of the most important. Adtrackz Gold allows you to create tracking links to see exactly which
traffic sources are sending you the most visitors, subscribers, and sales. It provides an additional layer of very important data that’s not easily tracked in Google Analytics. This one is a must-have if you want to scale your business to six-figures and beyond.

Google Website OptimizerBest free tool online for creating A/B split tests. Like everything online it does have a learning curve. But this is definitely one of my favorite tools for split-testing sales letters, squeeze pages, headlines, and more.

Visual Website Optimizer Visual Website Optimizer is an easy to use A/B testing tool featuring point-and-click test designer and WYSIWYG editor for creating variations. In addition to being dead-simple split testing software for marketers, it also dramatically shortens time to go live with your A/B tests because of the innovative “tag-less” integration (not to mention it reduces your dependency on IT and web development department for uploading code snippets again and again)

OptimizelySimple, fast, and powerful. Optimizely is a dramatically easier way for you to improve your website through A/B testing. Create an experiment in minutes with our easy-to-use visual interface with absolutely no coding or engineering required.

Unbounce.comDesign and split-test your landing pages using a visual point and click WYSIWYG editor. Unbounce is unique in that it comes with built-in templates that allow you to create, publish and optimize your landing pages without all the technical gumbo. But keep in mind that Unbounce is designed to A/B test *new* landing pages – not your existing website.

ClickTale.com – Creates a visual demonstration of how people move through your website. Watch movies of visitors browsing your website. Find out exactly how people are interacting with your website. See every mouse movement and every click.

http://www.abtests.com/Community website for sharing A/B testing results and case studies.  Lots of golden nuggets here 🙂

http://www.whichtestwon.comWant to test your marketing skills? Vote for which version you think won… and then see real-life test results.  A treasure trove of a/b split test results to help you format your own website, sales page, or squeeze page for optimal results.

99designs.com – 99Designs has created a revolutionary design process where you actually have multiple designers competing to win your bid. So you can have hundreds of different designers creating multiple designs for you and you only have to pay the one you like best. This is one of the main services I use for graphic design. Also a great place to get new design ideas.

Hatchwise.com – Similar to 99designs.com but more affordable. You rate, review and provide feedback (constructive criticism) on all the designs you receive and then you pick the one you love the most, pay the designer the fee and download your design!

MiniSiteGraphics.com – Top-notch designer used by Jimmy D. Brown, Russell Brunson, Josh Spaulding, and Ewen Chia.

KillerCovers.comAmazing designs for your eBooks, DVDs, CDs, etc.

DesignGuruRyan.com – Top online graphic designer. Used by Mike Filsaime, Ryan Deiss, Chris McNeeny, Ewen Chia, and many others.

Pixelofgenius.com – Another top-notch designer.

PSD2HTMLConvert your PSD designs to high quality, cross-browser compatible, valid XHTML / CSS markup.

DimpleArt.com – Very affordable, high-quality caricatures you can create for your website, squeeze page, and overall branding. Also makes a great gift for JV partners.

KillerSalesVideo.com – Create killer promo videos for your product launches.

SamuraiSalesVideos.com – Incredibly powerful sales videos with killer design.

GraphicsGenie.com – Some of THE most talented video designers in the business. They’re a little bit pricier but do incredibly good work.

VideoProducerOnline.com – Scott Lundergan is an award-winning Video Producer that can create a wide-variety of videos for your business.

If you’re looking to create a decent promo on the cheap, then Fiverr.com is a good place to go. They usually have some good video templates that they will customize with your own words and graphics.

WriteSyntax.com – Cori Padgett is one of the best ghostwriters I’ve ever come across. She’s worked with a number of high-level clients including Jimmy D. Brown, Gabor Olah, Jenn Dize, Sandi Valentine, Ron Davies, and many others.

What really makes her writing stand out is her ability to infuse character and personality. She’s also had her writing published on sites like ProBlogger.net, CopyBlogger.com, Kikolani.com, FamousBloggers.net, TrafficGenerationCafe.com, and many others.

She has a variety of content packages available, including blog posts, media distributions services, newsletter content, and just about everything under the kitchen sink.

SixDegreesContent.com – Courtney Ramirez has a top-notch team of writers who can whip up high-quality blog posts, autoresponder emails, press releases, ebooks, and reports.

ArticleZ.com – A highly-skilled team of writers that will crank out blog posts, autoresponder emails, reports, and more. High value and highly affordable.

 Chris Haddad
Kevin Rogers
Vin Montello
Mike Jezek
Brian Keith Voiles

 Top Autoresponder Copywriters:

AnitaAshland.com – Writes autoresponder emails for Stephen Pierce and many other top marketers.

Jay White – Has written emails for Mike Filsaime and many other top marketers.

To build a successful online business, you’ll need an ongoing supply of high-quality content. But creating all that content can take up huge blocks of time. And let’s face it, sometimes the hardest thing about writing is looking at that blank screen. But you can crank out content quickly using some high-quality PLR. PLR is content that you can use as your own. Modify it. Repurpose it. And put your name in the byline. Here are some of my favorite sources of high-quality PLR.

SpecialReportClub.com – Hands-down some of the best Internet Marketing PLR content online.

AllPrivateLabelContent.com – High-quality PLR that includes article bundles, autoresponder bundles, and reports.

EasyPLR.com – Very High-quality PLR articles & reports. Created by Nicole Dean: one of my favorite online marketers.

PLRSO.com – Exclusive PLR rights to some of Jimmy D. Brown’s best selling products. This is hands-down some of the very best PLR content available online.

PLRMiniMart.com – PLR content created by one of the best ghostwriter’s online, Tiffany Dow, “Ghostwriter To The Gurus”. Here you’ll find top-notch PLR articles, blog posts, autoresponder emails, ebooks and reports.

Niche-Content-Packages.com – High-quality PLR packages for blogs, websites, eCourses, newsletters and reports.

DIYPLR.com – Run by one of my favorite marketers – Alice Seba. Specializing in step by step, check lists, etc.

Clickbank – Excellent All-In-One Solution that allows you to accept payments (via credit card and PayPal) and it has a built-in affiliate program. One of the best parts about Clickbank is they will pay your affiliates every 2 weeks so you don’t have to worry about sending out checks or doing mass PayPal payments. On the down side though, Clickbank does have a rather high processing fee.

PayPal – I Use PayPal for most of my products because it’s super simple to setup and they have a much lower processing fee. You can also sign up for Website Payments Pro – which allows you to accept payments via PayPal and by credit card.

Merchant Account – You can also accept credit cards by setting up a merchant account. One of the most trusterd merchant account companies online is PowerPay. I like this one in particular because they understand online businesses – and information marketing in particular.

Chargify.com – This one is a new-comer but looks very promising. If you’re looking for an alternative to PayPal then I would highly recommend taking a look at Chargify. Plus, they have a really nice backend admin area that allows you to easily analyze your business and manage your customers.

Over the years, I’ve compared a number of different shopping cart solutions… InfusionSoft, NanaCast, 1ShoppingCart, Clickbank, etc, etc, etc…

For anyone who has compared different shopping cart solutions, one of the first things you realize is that there are pros and cons to EVERY solution. The key is to choose the one that best fits the needs of your specific business. Here’s a quick overview of the top shopping cart solutions online:

Clickbank – As noted above, Clickbank is actually a payment processor and shopping cart all built into one. The biggest benefit of Clickbank is simply ease of use. It’s a very plug-and-play solution that allows you to get up and running very quickly. However, Clickbank also has some down sides.  They have a high processing fee (7.5% plus $1 on every sale).  Also, with Clickbank you’re always going to have a higher refund rate and  commission hijacking. One of the big problems with Clickbank is that affiliates can very easily buy through their own links – resulting in commission hijacking. Which is a disservice not only to you but also to your affiliates.

InfusionSoft – One of the premier shopping cart solutions available online. InfusionSoft is EXTREMELY flexible and feature-packed but at the same time it’s VERY technically involved. You pretty much have to hire a programming team to get it up and running to fit your specific needs. So the learning curve is definitely going to be a bit higher with this one. But it is a VERY good solution and offers a lot of incredible features for scaling your business. InfusionSoft allows you to implement upsells, downsells, order page bumps, lifetime affiliate tracking, and much more.

Nanacast – Has many of the same features as InfusionSoft but with a softer learning curve. Nanacast has one-click upsells, downsells, order page bumps, dime sales, fire sales, membership site management, and much more. Nanacast is incredibly feature-packed and you can find out more about them on their website.

Rapid Action Profits – This is a shopping cart that I personally used for our Traffic Dashboard product. It has a number of excellent features but one of the biggest benefits of RAP is that it allows you to do 100% instant commissions via PayPal. This is incredibly powerful for recruiting an army of affiliates. You can read my complete review of RAP here.

1ShoppingCart.com – I haven’t personally used 1ShoppingCart.com but I do know that it has a lot of great features and it’s definitely one to consider.

Digital Access Pass – If you’re looking to run your membership site with WordPress, then Digital Access Pass is definitely one of the best solutions out there. DAP comes with a built-in shopping cart that lets you do 1-click upsells, coupon codes, and dime sales. It also comes with a feature-packed built-in affiliate program that let you pay per-lead or per-sale. DAP integrates perfectly with WordPress, allowing you to drip-feed all types of content, including WordPress pages and posts, PDF reports, Videos, Audio files, Zip Files, and even images. Built-in File and download protection. Plus a host of other features which you can check out at http://www.digitalaccesspass.com/.

Wishlist Member – Wishlist is another great option for turning your WordPress blog into a full-blown membership site. On the technical side, Wishlist is probably easier than Digital Access Pass. But I personally prefer DAP because of the extra layer of features.

Membergate – Membergate is the Rolls Royce of online membership sites. It’s used by Chris Farrell at ChrisFarrellMembership.com and Jo Barnes at TheSocialNetworkingAcademy.com. I also used it for the Super Affiliate Club and I can tell you it’s an incredibly powerful all-in-one solution.

EooksCreated.com – Have your complete product done-for-you with EbooksCreated.com. For just $999 you can get a 50-page ebook, complete minisite design, and an effective sales page ready to go.

I love Craigslist

  Craigslist More Than you Imagined?

I am a craigslist intermediate visitor…after reading about Joe…I may be stalking the  freebee section. Watch this video to see if a stalker may be lurking inside of you.

In a major change of pace from his work in The Hangover, actor and comedian Zach Galifianakis is working as the executive producer for a new documentary called Craigslist Joe. The movie is about Joe Garner, who traveled across America living off Craigslist ads.

Over 31 days, Garner sought transportation, food, and shelter through ads on the online classifieds network. All he took with him on the journey was a laptop, cell phone, toothbrush, and the clothes he wore. Get a first look at the movie with the trailer above. The movie is slated to hit theaters and iTunes on August 2.

Craigslist has been at the center of many weird and wacky stories. Strange things wind up for sale on the network, from a 1/3-size scale model of a Star Wars TIE Fighter to a human skull. Although you can search directly for something you need, browsing the Best of Craigslist can also just yield some laughs.

Secrets To Employ About Google Analytics

I had no idea how to use this or even why I would want to employ Google Analytics then I discovered this…

5 Little Known Facts About Google Analytics

Google Analytics (GA) has popularized analytics for folks who hardly know what analytics really are. No longer the domain of deeply technological vendor specialists, analytics can now be implemented by anyone who signs up for a GA account.

For some, it’s really that simple. If you have a small site and need to know the basics, you hardly need anyone to do anything for you at all (from an implementation standpoint). GA gives you a tracking parameter where you add your domain name and you plop this into the header of your page and suddenly, you are part of the grand analytics experiment.

Where mainstream vendors send you expensive proposals, complicated account teams, service level agreements, caveats and contracts, GA sends you the tracking code. And this has proved almost a siren call to many marketers looking (justifiably) to break free of Big Vendor handcuffs.

The problem is, some people don’t know how much GA can actually do. But even learning a few little-known facts and limitations about GA may help dispel the notion that it’s a set-it-and-forget-it kind of tool. The follow items refer specifically to Google Analytics’ free offering, not its more heavyweight GA Premium offering. Many items can be found in Brian Clifton’s book Advanced Metrics with Google Analytics.

1. Google Analytics Ignores Data After a Certain Activity Level is Reached.

After 500 hits during a single visitor session, further activity is ignored. “Hits” is an old-fashioned word that no one wants to think about anymore, but servers deal with nearly everything on a “hit” level, even if analysts think it’s not useful to reference this as a parameter. A hit is generated any time any item is requested from the web server — a tracking code, a GIF file, a PDF, a page element, an interactive module. And depending on how your site is built, getting to 500 hits might not be so far a barrier to bash into. And then the activity is ignored. It’s not counted.

2. It Samples Data After a Certain Activity Level is Reached.

After you reach 1 million unique dimension combinations, GA samples the data. In somewhat plainer language, this means that once you have that many variables in play — and they do stack up fairly rapidly — GA selectively and intelligently ignores some of the data. It deploys sophisticated algorithms that make quick work of understanding overall patterns and dropping out the data least likely to result in a visible difference.

It’s the same principle universal image compression files (like JPG) use today — what you can’t see anyway will never be missed. Again, that is the driving principle. But when acute detail is needed, or where samples are very large and where algorithms may stray very far from true north, then sampling is not so great. It’s certainly something to be aware of if you are running GA on a heavily trafficked site.

3. It Calls Key Performance Indicators “Goals” Allows 20 Per Profile.

This won’t affect smaller implementations, and there are workarounds to minimize the effect it may have on even larger ones. But for very large, multiplex implementations, 20 KPIs per profile may seem puny compared to the nearly limitless ones you can set up in the pay-for tools. Remember that KPIs may be any valuable action you define — from time spent on page, to content downloaded, to transactions, to completing a registration. The list is about as infinite as the amount of clicks on all the sites in all the world.

Again, this issue can be managed and mitigated and for many it will never be a problem. But enterprises beware: You are probably going to need more than 20 defined KPIs and the free GA tool does not allow it.  Read More….

Marketing On The Internet?

Marketing on the internet, Massive Change in Internet Marketing

Marketing on the internet, Massive Change in Internet Marketing—Maria Reyes-McDavis (Flickr.com)

Are You Already Marketing On The Internet?

I have been marketing on the internet for 2 years and it has been an amazing journey of confusion, struggle, disappointment,  and enlightenment.

Take a moment to think about how you would really answer this question. If given enough thought just about any business owner who utilizes the Internet for any purpose will likely find that whether or not they intentionally organized an Internet marketing campaign, they may already be marketing their products and services on the Internet. This article will examine some subtle ways business owners may already be marketing their business on the Internet.

Do you have a website for your business? Business owners who answer yes to this question are already marketing their products or services online just by virtue of the fact that they have a website online. Having a live website means there is the potential for curious Internet users to access your website. You may not be actively promoting your website but you may still find that your website generates interest in your products despite the lack of promotional endeavors; this is a form of passive marketing.

Do you participate in message boards and include a link to your website in your signature? Again business owners who answer yes to this question are already marketing their website online. Savvy business owners realize the importance of participation in industry related message boards to create an interest in their products and services, establish themselves as knowledgeable about the industry and offer a link to their own website even if it is in the signature line of their posts. However, even business owners who do not realize this may already be inadvertently enjoying the benefits of Internet marketing which result from message board participation just by doing something they enjoy and may be doing as a form of leisure activity.

Do you include keywords which are relevant to your business in the content of your website? Business owners who answer yes to this question are also already marketing on the Internet by optimizing their website for these keywords.

These search engine optimization (SEO) affects the websites whether or not they were even aware of the concept of keyword density and how it can help to SEO a website. Business owners will likely use certain words often depending on the type of products and services they offer just because it is natural and logical to do so. This tendency, however, can result in search engines boosting your website rankings for these particular keywords. The concept of SEO is much more involved and complex than simply using keywords frequently but business owners can gain some benefit just by naturally applying relevant keywords to their website.

Do you solicit feedback from your customers online? This is yet another example of how business owners may be accidentally marketing their business on the Internet. Most business owners realize the importance of soliciting feedback from customers for business purposes and business owners who offer products online might solicit feedback in the form of online surveys. Although the business owners may be doing this simply for a business purpose the fact that it is done online makes it fall into the category of Internet marketing.

We have already discussed several ways in which business owners may already be marketing online but what about business owners who want to have an increased online presence? Business owners who may already be marketing online accidentally may wish to launch a full scale Internet marketing campaign. The best way to do this is to hire a consultant with experience in Internet marketing to assist you in creating a campaign which is effective for your target audience. Or Learn to do it yourself with the help of the best marketers online today.

So if you determine that marketing on the internet is your next ticket to freedom….You want to check this out!

Video blogging

Video blogging—loiclemeur (Flickr.com)

Video Blogging The Pros and Cons

Video blogging has a lot of advantages over text-based blogging, and it is little wonder that this new technology is catching on all over the globe. Video blogs very effectively grab the attention of web surfers, and people are much more likely to become excited about the dynamic content of a video blog than they are likely to find a written posting very thrilling. The more enthusiastic viewers are about a site, the quicker the word of mouth spreads, and the more traffic the site will get.

Of course, there are plenty of disadvantages to video blogging as well. Hosting a v-blog requires quite a bit of server space, which can make it difficult to get started. It takes more time to process and upload a video file than it does to dash off a quick bit of text, which means that running and updating a video blog can be quite a bit of work.

In addition, web surfers sometimes grow frustrated with the slow loading times of the files on many video blogs. Whether you opt for a video blog or not depends on what kind of subject matter you want to cover, and how much time you can devote to video blogging. Before you decide to pursue a video blog, consider if there is an easier way for you to get your message across.

What Is The Right Blogging Platform To Meet Your Needs?

Choosing which blogging platform to use is one of the most important decisions that you can make as a blogger. The right platform can make blogging a breeze, and the wrong platform can make blogging a chore.

Because the program that you use to blog with is such a powerful part of your blogging experience, it is well worth putting in the time to find a platform that provides your ideal balance between a user-friendly interface and a flexible framework that allows you to make your blog look and feel unique.

Finding the right platform isn’t always easy, but with a little bit of contemplation and a little bit of research, you will be on your way to finding the perfect blogging platform.

Deciding what your priorities are in terms of ease of use versus customization. Most highly customizable blogging platforms, like moveable type, are a bit more difficult to use than very automated platforms like wordpress.

If you are new to blogs and to internet technology, you might want to sacrifice the ability to create a custom background design or to integrate a unique font into your template in order to find a program that will be easy for you to use.

On the other hand, if you are a veteran web designer with knowledge of html or javascript, you will probably find the limitations of a user-friendly platform to be frustrating.

There is no such thing as a blogging platform that is objectively the best platform, because every blogger has unique needs. The blogging movement is very much about individuality, so it makes plenty of sense that there would be many different platforms available that are designed to meet the needs of different kinds of individuals undertaking different kinds of projects.

This diversity is a good thing, because it means that you will almost certainly be able to find a program that suits your level of technical aptitude.

However, the fact that no two bloggers need the same thing from a blogging platform can make your search for the right platform a bit tricky. When you are reading reviews of different platforms, try to keep your priorities in mind and do your best to take into account the position that the reviewer is coming from.

For example, a negative review written by an accomplished software designer who complains that a popular platform is too limited may tell you that the platform in question is ideal for a beginning blogger.

There is no such thing as the perfect platform for everybody, so instead of looking for the “best” platform, look for the best platform for your specific criteria.

So when determining which platform you want to use, make sure that you preview the top blogging sites and choose you that fits your personality. I use the Empower network blogging platform. It is a wonderful tool and very cost effective. ..You Can Find Out More Here.

Blogging Moms

Blogging Moms

There was no such animal as blogging when my daughter was born…we journaled and kept much of our mommy anxiety to ourselves…it is a new exciting adventure for  moms today.

For the mom of a new baby, blogging is likely to be the last thing on her mind. Taking care of an infant is an almost incredible amount of work, and between changing diapers and putting the final touches on the nursery, it seems unrealistic to imagine that there would be time left over for any mother to blog. However, a growing number of new moms are joining the blogosphere to share their experiences during this exciting time of life. There is a whole range of benefits that new mothers can reap from blogging, and the spectrum covers everything from getting through the night to helping distant relatives feel closer.

Among the reasons why, for a mom dealing with the hassles and triumphs of a baby, blogging is a great idea, is that having a blog about motherhood is a great way to blow off some steam. Babies often have very erratic sleep patterns that leave parents up at odd hours of the night, and sometimes the best way to fill those hours is on the internet. Many new moms turn to television to help them weather these dawn vigils, but by blogging through the night moms can turn what feels like a somewhat depressing situation into an actively positive and productive one.

Another reason why new moms often find blogging very satisfying is that it helps them to be a part of a community. For moms who are not able to successfully
juggle a full social life with the very tough demands of taking care of a new baby, blogging can be a great way to stave off the isolation that sometimes comes with this stage of life. A baby requires constant attention, and it can be difficult to attend social gatherings or events when you are responsible for an infant.

Luckily, the blogosphere is full of other moms in the same situation, and by chatting with them it is possible to overcome some of the loneliness that many new mothers are surprised to encounter.

Of course, for a mom with an adorable new baby, blogging can be as much about celebration as it is about necessity. Having a blog about living with a new child
can give mothers the chance to reflect on how powerful and warm the sensation of motherhood is, and sometimes sharing the triumphs of this unique time can
make them even sweeter.

A blog is a great way to keep friends and family updated with news about your baby’s first words or first steps, and with new technology it is easier than ever to make photos and video clips a part of your blog, so you can give far-away relatives the chance to feel much more involved in your child’s life.

So if you are a new mom, blogging may just be your ticket to express yourself. For a complete ready to go blogging platform CHECK THIS OUT!

Professional Blogging…An Exciting New Frontier.

Daily I embrace the blogging experience and hope that the material and content I  share will have a positive impact and in some way enrich a life. Maybe I will connect today with you….

Professional blogging is a very new idea with a lot of potential for entrepreneurs who have insight, drive, and a basic understanding of  today’s innovative web technology. The ranks of so-called pro bloggers are still quite small, and there are very few people who make their living entirely off of their blogs. However, every day there are more and more people who have managed to turn their weblogs into cash cows that supplement their income.

The number of pro bloggers is growing by leaps and bounds, but it is difficult to say whether this trend will continue. Many bloggers dream of entering the sphere of professional blogging. There are very few people who happily devote an hour or more each day to their blog without at least occasionally wishing that they could earn some kind of financial reward for all of their work.

Several models exist for making money with a blog, the most popular being to sell advertising space through Google’s AdSense program or directly to a company that wishes to reach the demographic that your blog appeals to. However, there are very few people indeed who can make a comfortable living just by selling space on their blog sidebars.

A lot of the people who read weblogs are bloggers themselves, in part because of the fact that the people who use blogging technology on a daily basis are most likely to be interested in what other writers are doing with the medium. This fact begins to explain why the people who succeed in the world of professional blogging are mostly people who have devoted themselves almost entirely to learning about, talking about, and writing about blogging. More than any other topic, pro bloggers turn their attention to he phenomenon of blogging itself. A lot of pro bloggers make the topic of blogging the stunningly self-reflexive ongoing focus of their blogs.

Of course, professional blogging is destined to become much more complicated in the future than it is today. In the current moment, pro  bloggers who attract the largest audiences and make the most money are mostly concerned with investigating the blogging movement and with offering advice to amateur bloggers. However, as the kinds of people who regularly read blogs changes, and the demographics of bloggers expand and diversify as blogging software becomes more user friendly, it is very likely indeed that the world of pro blogging will begin to reflect these changes.

Indeed, it is very difficult to predict exactly what kinds of blogs will be reaping the greatest financial rewards five or ten years down the road. The world of pro blogging is one of constant change and flux, which is part of what makes it so exciting.

I am committed to blogging and though I am not a professional certainly I can claim a joy that comes when you hear back from someone that your content has had a profound effect.

Mobile Blogging is on the Cutting Edge

Tropical storm Debbie is abating and though water logged, I for one am thankful for the ability to use my mobile  phone to blog as we have not  had internet service.

Mobile blogging is an exciting phenomenon that is sweeping the blogosphere. One of the reasons why a lot of bloggers are attracted to the medium of blogging in the first place is that they enjoy being able to make frequent updates and posts that keep all of their visitors
up to speed with current situations. Mobile blogs, or “moblogs,” take this to the extreme by allowing users to post things literally as they happen.

This new wave of moblogs and mobloggers keep web surfers up to date with good and bad events of importance as they occur all over the world, helping to make international communication faster and more accurate. Many people feel that the limitations of blogging have a lot to do with geography.

After all, there is only so current that a blog can be when you need to run home and boot up in order to update it. However, mobile
blogging marks the beginning of an thrilling new era when web-based communication can happen spontaneously from any location. Moblogging devices mean that there is almost nowhere on the planet that remains off-limits for bloggers.

Mobile blogging is still in its infancy because the technology that makes it possible has only recently hit the global market. The first moblog technology became available over a decade ago, but it is only the past two or three years that mobile web devices have become user-friendly enough to appeal to most consumers.

As camera phones and other mobile technology become more popular, more and more bloggers are getting away from their desks and are hitting the streets. Moblogging is becoming much more widespread that it was even afew months ago, and mobloggers are quickly attracting a lot of attention with the blogging community. It is not yet clear whether moblogs will become the dominant kinds of blogs in the years to come, but the current trend seems to imply that moblogs are here to stay.

Mobile devices make it possible to blog from the sites where current events are unfolding, which is one of the reasons why mobile blogging has so much thrilling potential to revolutionize the blogosphere. A moblogger with a camera phone can post blog entries from, say, the foot of the podium at a presidential speech, or from the stands during the final moments of the world series.

This enables bloggers to experience the same real time thrills that live television coverage provides, but in a more democratic medium. The combination of mobility and individual control that moblogging provides certainly places mobloggers on the cutting edge of today’s communications technology, and it is hard to imagine that the number and prestige of moblogs will not continue to grow in the coming years.

And where would be be today without the exciting advances in mobile communications? Blogging the old fashion way…which can still be a good thing.
